Our Services

Installation

We focus on all aspects of wooden floors. Wood flooring is a product of nature characterized by distinctive variations in grain, pattern, and color. These natural variations are neither flaws or defects, but rather the natural beauty and uniqueness of wood, and should be expected. We want to work with YOU and bring it’s natural beauty into your home.

During installation, we use reasonable board selectivity and good judgment. Any board deemed unacceptable in appearance will not be used. To minimize gapping, boards of similar widths will not be placed together in the same row. We want what looks best for your room.

Solid wood flooring

Solid wood floors are durable, easy to clean and make a great long-term investment for the quality of your space. We install solid wood flooring whether it would be raw wood, sanded, stained and finished or pre-finished floors of all types and thicknesses.

Vinyl plank flooring

We also offer installation of different types of vinyl plank flooring. It’s a great cost saver compared to solid wood flooring. Vinyl flooring is water resistance and exceeds requirements for slip resistance and flammability. It is a softer material that can be scratched/punctured more easily and often requires more floor prep before installation. We will help YOU make the decision on what would work best for your space.

baseboard & shoe moldings

Despite being low to the floor, baseboards are one of a house's defining features. It can add the final touch to make a room come together. We recommend removing your one piece baseboards and upgrading to two- or three-part baseboards when upgrading your room.

Paired with baseboard and stained or painted to match your trim, shoe molding is a strip of molding that gives your room a finished look. Shoe molding adds a decorative touch while covering any gaps that might lie between the bottom of baseboard and the floor. Not all types of baseboard are suitable for installing shoe molding but we can determine that for you.

Buffing, Sanding and Refinishing

Buffing will remove scratches and wear at the surface finish as long as the wood underneath is in good shape and it will restore the topcoat of your wood floor. Sanding and refinishing gives us the chance to completely restore old, damaged flooring as well as change the color if you’d like. Once we’ve sanded down to the bare wood, we will fill any cracks with matching wood filler and apply stain and multiple coats of finish.

We buff, sand and re-stain old wood floors to a color of your choice. Any custom color(s) you choose can be mixed. When sanding, we use a dust containment system that is 95% effective. We recommend buffering and re-coating existing floors every 3 to 5 years.

Flooring Removal/Subfloor Installation

No matter if it’s carpet, vinyl, or old hard wood, we can remove it to expose your subfloor. Your subfloor is a thick flat surface that all other layers of floor rest on and attaches to the joists of your house. It can be made of concrete slab, plywood or strand board. No subfloor? We can install that for you too.
